IE for an international approach, both students and the faculty and the program content. Thus, IE has students of 88 nationalities, and offers programs such as the International MBA, which includes 90 of foreign students from 68 countries. The school has a network of over 40,000 alumni in over 100 countries, and the Alumni Association is present through clubs in South Africa, New York, Moscow, S o Paulo, Frankfurt, Sydney, Bogota, Lima , Hong Kong, London and Los Angeles among other places. IE has a valuable network of corporate contacts in Latin America, a region from which more than 25 of the students, and is present through a network of offices in Central America, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.Also, IE has initiatives like the Center Eurolatinoamericano (http://ceula.ie.edu) dedicated to generating and disseminating knowledge on management in Latin America and promote corporate network between Europe and Latin America. In order to multiply the potential and academic resources at the international level, IE is a founding member of the Alliance Sumaq, an agreement linking the IE along with seven business schools in Latin America, with the aim of offering programs executive education to senior management. Sumaq has a common technology platform, a joint faculty of 500 professors and presence in 11 countries.
